I sold my beloved horse!! :(

So i need to save some of the money i got from him for me and Annabelle for when we move next year or just for when we really need it. If i leave it in my bank it will wither away.

From what i have found it looks like the post office is the best?!

Anyone know anywhere better. I am putting about £2k in xx

definately get an ISA if you havent already got one. You will have to pay tax on any interest you earn on a normal account but you get to keep all the interest in an ISA. If youre happy to lock the money away for a ful year you'll get a better rate but if you think you might need to dip into it sooner then dont bother cos they wont give you any interest on it if you take it out too soon. In that case just get a normal ISA with an average interest rate that you know you will actually get even if you took a bit out when you need it.
