We still don't have one but it's becoming clear that Jacob wants something like that. A tummy time pillow would be a plus. I like the look of the Baby Einstein Neptune one but I will take recommendations!

We had (have) a simple one from the ELC we got as a present. Was fine for a while when she was very young and content on her back but hasn't seen much use since she was around 3 months. I wouldn't spend a fortune on one but would advise if you can get one with a playnest type thing (or use it with a playnest in it if there's room) they can sit in it might see more use long term.

we have the fisher price rainforest one, aiden has used it since about 7/8 weeks and loves it. there are flashing lights, music, loads of toys, mirror, plenty to do :D

We have the rainforest take-along swing and he especially loves the frog. I wonder if that would make it better or worse as far as interest in it goes.

As for the playnest... We have a hand-me-down one with the inflatable innertube and at the moment I think it really scares him. Last time we tried him in it he was miserable. :( I'm hoping he'll eventually like it. At the moment he is getting used to being on his tummy (but only tolerates it for a few minutes then gets very frustrated because he is trying so hard to go somewhere), and loves to lay on the floor flat on his back. He will even tolerate me walking away for a couple of minutes (a BIG deal for Jacob), so I want him to have something to play with too. Maybe I can build it up to enough time to make myself some tea and toast! :D

Finlay has Happy Safari interactive gym from Mothercare and he LOVES it still. Will happily play on it for a while, front and back

We got a Tiny Love one. Nothing fancy. Got about 2 months use out of it before Galen was off and commando crawling. Even then it was limited time each day as he would get very bored on it for longer than 10-15 minutes twice a day. As soon as he figured out how to roll the mat was a loss. He was never looking at the stuff above him then

Found more use for a single duvet on the floor with his toys scattered around on that tbh  I'll go duvet over activy mat/gym next time for sure.

We have the cotoons baby nest thingy from argos. It is brilliant. Got it when he was 3 months ish an its still going strong now. When he was younger he could fall asleep in it as there is so much space. As he is getting bigger he is getting more use out of it as he can do more with it!
