I am 25 weeks, and when my baby kicks it is really low, at the bottom and under my bump, i get occasional movement higher up, but not much, is this normal? I thought he would be much higher by now? x
I get a large majority of my kicks (or punches) very low and other movements I feel I think is just her arse shimmying across my belly. It could be the baby moving its hands around his face or its feet kicking down. At 25 weeks the baby still moves round alot so could be anything really!! Perfectly normal though xx
yeah mine is mostly at the bottom too, except when Im lying on my side and Im surprised how high he can kick! Always on the side Im lying on too. Maybe gravity is helping while they're not taking up too much room?
oh yes i get them very low and im 31 weeks now. almost fell like hes kickin my private parts or about 2 push his way out haha. altho been gettin a few more in the ribs n up top the past few weeks so u may start 2 get them up top soon! does feel weird tho as my little girl was much higher up than this and didnt give many low kicks. good luck throughout xxx
I've definitely been feeling kicks higher up over the last week or so, one of the kicks was so high up in my ribs I actually stopped what I was doing because it really took my by surprise. I've found it depends on how I'm sitting too, if I'm sitting up straight then kicks are quite high, if I'm lying down or in more of a slouchy position then kicks are lower. Baby is certainly having fun exploring at the moment it seems hehe!
Oh, another thing I've noticed is that the baby will now respond to prods and pokes - OH rested his head on my bump the other night and got kicked in the face. I was rubbing on one side and then got kicked where I was rubbing too, very nice
baby will be in all different positions at that stage still cause they're still tiny with roomto move and alot of the time his feet/arms will be down the bottom, wait untill about 30 odd weeks and they turn upside down and you're ribs will be begging for those bottom kicks
