When will these tngs stop happening?!!! Pains n discharge...bleurgh!!!!

Hey ladies,

As most of u know Ive been having internet issues but have been getting on when I can.

Most of u know my story and thank0god had my 10 week scan on wednesday all was fine, lil Gregory junior was there n even has arms n leg buds spouting.......

THEN 22 hours later (yesterday morning) I started with the same sludgey discharge which I has on holiday about 3 weeks ago and a sharp stabbing pain in my side, just left of my hip bone.

So the worry has set in again, doh!! Was freaking out all of last night and now have ANOTHER flippin' scan booking for Sunday at 9am for reassurance.

When will this end.

HAs anyone had similar pains in the side of their tum? Could be stretching? Culd be something more sinister...who knows

Hi - sorry to hear you're going through the mill. I had a fair bit of pain in the early weeks - mostly like a stitch and usually on the left side - which seems to be quite normal - something to do with stretching and the uterus been tilted to the right. Recently I've had the same kinda pain on my right side - but its not too bad - im just trying to to freak out - and pray everything is ok.

hope your scan tomorrow is ok - let us know how it goes.

Awww cheers mclean, that is reassuring, weird feeling isnt it. i know from past experience in the hospital with internals that i have a tilter cervix so i had wondered if it could that rectifying itself.
I read that it it is naturally tilted in the 1st trimester it sorts itself out. Just a bad feeling with the stabbing as its on and off every 5 mins then goes away n doesnt apear for 3 hours or so.

Hey - I have been having really bad pains in the left side continuously for 3 days now. It gets really bad for a few mins and then dulls down again! i am trying not to worry to much as they did say i have a cyst and that was causing a little pain in the first few weeks!

I was woken up with sharp stabbing pain in my lower left side last night, It came and wend every 30 seconds or so but was very very painfull not at all like the other pains and cramps i have been having so went to A and E and the pertty must just sent me home sayin it was normal glad to see someone else has the same makes me feel a bit more at ease

So relieved to see this post. I have been having the same pains in my left side. Feels like someone tied a knot inside me now it just feels like when you haven't exercised or swam for ages then do to much and your stomach goes all tight and hard. Been paranoid as had a 7week mc a few months ago on our first attempt.

I've had bleeds/discharge on and off since 7 weeks...........it is worrying and to be honest it feels like the medical profession don't give a damn.

But all scans are fine and have heard Bubs HB on a doppler!!

I think this is just going to be one of those pregnancys!!

I'm not having such bad pains but have been having pinky discharge etc and some strange pains, had 3 scans already and everything looks fine but doesn't stop me from worrying.

Saw midwife today and she said some people get really sick, some people bleed, some people have a lot of pain and some people feel great 100% of the pregnancy!

Hello Ladies!!!!

Phewwwwwwy! Had scan this morning and Gregory Junior is all greeeeeeat!!

Was amazing yet again to see him/her yet again for the third time. All godd and be reassured ladies the sonographer says these pains in my side are normal and are because there are alot of ligiments there which are stretching and preparing for junior at this crucial time to fit into my uterus. He/she had grown 1/2 a cm in the last 4 days so thats prob the reason for all the pains.

As for the discharge (hate that word..uwwwwww) it has dies down and now is just creamy, and again typically sonographer said it is normal.

So....only 10 days till 3mnths and Im so hopin we make it.

Boobs have become painful again, feel like they r filled with LAVA!!!!!

Hopw your all feeling better and that u too are feeling the pinch on the waist line like me and investing in lots of comfy leggings ha ha!!
