when to start trying again

Hello

I was just wondering when do they recommend trying again after a cesarean?
I only had my first baby 2 weeks ago and not looking to start trying again till she is a year old but just wondered when it is considered safe.

I was told a year. DD was about 20 months when I conceived and had no problems at all. I do however know someone who only has 1 year between her 2 kids and they were both sections and all was well too. If you are planning on waiting a year then I'm sure you'll be ok!

Yeah think we are going to wait a year and then start trying, it took us a year of trying for out little girl so if it's the same a second time there will be nearly 3 years in between them.

It took me 6 months with dd, and then the first month with ds! Fingers crossed for 1 month next time too!
