I haven't pumped for nearly a fortnight now but my boobs are still leaking quite a bit, especially in the morning. Is this normal? How long before they dry up completely?

Yes. We had huge problems breastfeeding so I expressed and fed by bottle for two weeks after she was born and then my supply seemed to dry up as couldn't get anything when I pumped so switched to formula. But has now been nearly a fortnight since last pump.

Tight bra, cabbage leaves and lots of breast pads. Keep the bra on and stop expressing etc id say. The cabbage leaves help to draw the milk out quicker. Have you become engorged yet?? X

I read somewhere that a,lady was still leaking a,year after stopping breastfeeding.

I think hunnie has the best idea x

You can get tablets from docs or I heard Epsom salts do the same, basically dehydrate the body to reduce/prevent supply x

Actually our breasts dry up from milk when we decide to not feed our babies, it is maily psychological. The reason why breasts "let-down" is because of stimulation from sucking. Try not breast feeding once daily for a week and stop it for 2 days. You will see dramatic change on the milk "let-down". As a mum, I will still support breastfeeding your baby, it may be annoying now but when you child grows up you will see the results. If you are having issues with dripping milk, try using super absorbent breast pads like those from Mamaway, that's what I used. I hope this helps
