Hey all just looking for reassurance really, my af was due Sunday, was feeling sick last night at work which made me test I've got 3 BFPs including a clear blue digital with 2-3 weeks on it so I'm around 4-5 weeks possibly more as my last normal period was June I had a 12 hour bleed in July and that's it, it wasn't fmu I used as I work nights I've got lower back ache and period style cramps enough for me to take paracetamol. Is this normal or do you think I'm guna lose it before it's even started? Xx

Hi Holli, congrats! These are very normal symptoms of early pregnancy. Fx for a sticky for you, try to relax x

I found out a whole week before my period was due, and around the time it would have been due I had period aches and cramps enough to make me doubt if I was imagining the ridiculous number of positive tests!
I think it's normal as not only is your body now going to start stretching, but it's also used to getting ready for a period at this time.

Fingers crossed it passes in a few days, but if you're worried you can always pop to your doctor or EPU and ask for confirmation. x

Thankyou with it been my first im panicking already- not good I know! Really wasn't expecting to see a 2-3 weeks especially not with fmu or been held as I'd been to loo a few hours before, it's almost like I've got a positive and now I have the cramps like it's in my head kinda thing xx

I had cramps like period pains a few weeks ago, I called my local early pregnancy unit (got messed around a bit but that's another story) and they said they wanted to get me scanned in case it was ectopic (no one had asked me if the pain was central or to one side). I was pleased that they wanted to scan me though because it meant i could put my mind at ease.

If you're at all worried, just call your local early pregnancy unit or community midwives and someone will be able to guide you lovely. Good luck :hugs: xxx

I had excruciating pains for my uterus stretching, extreme nausea, dizziness, headache, fatigue from before it even showed up on a test as a BFP. I'm still pregnant (21+4). I'll be honest its been an extremely hard pregnancy with HG and at times I've had a lot of pain around my womb akin to period pains - this is your uterus stretching and is a good sign even though it hurts like actual hell. Apart from being so ill I've had zero complications and baby is extremely healthy so I wouldn't worry! Congrats :)
