Hi this is my very first post on this forum!

5 day's ago I found out that i'm about 5 weeks pregnant it's my first baby and very unexpected! I didn't think I could have children so to me my baby is a miracle I can't wait to be a mum.

Hey everyone im new here, my names Mica and im 16 years old, 15.3 weeks pregnant with my first baby. Am really hoping to be able to chat with people who are in the same position as me or just general chit chat, im very nervous about..well everything at the moment, ive had so many people close to me have mc and mmc recently that i cant really feel at all excited about being pregnant at the mo, im just wishing the days away untill my 20 week scan on the 25th of May. Sorry for nattering on, well would love to chat to you lot. Mica X

Iv been married for almost a year now and me and my husband have decided we want a baby. At the moment I’m on the pill and when ever I decide im going to stop taking them I panic. I guess the reason is because im petrified of actually giving birth. Im scared of needles and the sight of blood makes me pass out. Most of all im scared of having a caesarean. (I’m not sure if that’s spelt right). I just dont want to get pregnant and feel trapped as the stress of it might harm the baby.


I was just wondering if this is normal and if any one has any tips on getting over it?

Iv tried watching programmes on giving birth but births are so unpredictable that it hasn’t really helped me

Im Jax, 31, I live near Cardiff with my fiance (we plan to marry next June but may be due then!) and we have been trying for a baby for a year next month. I suspect we may have done it but im just gonna hop on over to another section of the site to talk about that.

Hello everyone, my name is Sarah and it is great to be here. I am 29 and from Northern Ireland. I am married to Steve and have just found out that I am pregnant with our first child. We were aiming to concieve in July/August time but it happened a little bit earlier than planned. We are both delighted of course, but a little bit stunned that it could happen so quickly!!
I did the pregnancy test on our fourth wedding anniversary so we had an extra special day. We haven't told anyone yet, but are planning on telling my parents in a couple of weeks and then we shall start telling everyone else.
I have had loads of symptoms already, loads of aversions such as petrol fumes, spray deodorant etc and this week I started to crave lemons Rolling Eyes I have also felt unbelievably tired and very sick.
I am looking forward to meeting you all

Hi Guys,

Im 7 weeks and 4days pregnant and had some light brown discharge when i wiped myself earler, also been to loo again and had some brown discharge in knickers (sorry for in depth details!). I've had no pain since very early and that was just now and again.

Im extremely worried about this, its my first pregnancy.

I've rang my out of hours doc and I am waiting for them to get back to me, has anyone got any advice or simular storys? Will I be able to get an earlier scan for my peace of mind as i dont want to be stressed and worried.

PLEASE HELP!

Ended up in A&E tonight as had quite alot of red blood, was terrified. Its stopped now so they have sent me home. Gotta go for scan on Saturday & rest.
Im so so scared its untrue, just cant stop crying. Thought id let u guys know anyway.

Pretty sad one from me makes me remember how scared I was. But also shows me how far ive come in the past months. Gone all emotional now!

hi my midwife says the same lol, iv been asked to go back in to weeks
to see if the growth has slowed down im 31 weeks due 06/04/05
mines just gone head down to it does feel a lil wierd gettin a lil foot stuck in ya ribs hey? but then the down side defo is needing a wee every 5mins then gettin to the loo and there is nothing there

I've been reading for a couple of weeks and thought it was time to say hi.

My name's Dee I'm 38 and me and DH are hoping to get lucky in the near future with baba no. 1. We just got married in April and found out I was pg on honeymoon but it wasn't to be and I had a m/s at 7.5 weeks still onwards and upwards and fingers crossed the next little beanie will hold fast.

I was totally hooked on the weddings forum and had to go cold turkey to wean myself off it So here I am again another day, another subject and another forum. You all seem really nice and supportive and I look forward to getting to know you all. (they were very bitchy on the weddings forum)

I'm looking for some advice really. My husband and I have been trying for a baby now for a couple of months. Unfortunetly we have had no such luck until now (well I'm hoping).
I am having some serious signs that I could be pregnant but the tests are still coming back negative as AF not due until 09/05. I have tried first responce tests but still nothing.
The symptoms I've been having are: perminatly tired, sick feeling (so bad I've been off work last 2days) breaking out spots on my face & back, slight sore breasts (especially the nipples).
Are any of these like what you've had? And would the signs start this early?

Hope to hear back from some of the experts!!
