Hello Marie.....
Clear blue ppl say are the best but all do the same thing.....when did you have your last period???

:D hi again!
the first day of my last period was March 16th, but I have been iiregular since coming off the depo in july 05. My boobs are tingly though, which i dont get!
I bought some tests off ebay that measure 50 HCG and keep getting neg. My body is sooo confusing!

Hi

I found sainsbury's own the most sensitive, the cheapies didn't work for me either :? xx

would you mind going out now and doing the test! The suspense kills me.
Thankyou

I used clear blue Digital-pricey, at £15 but worth it. Comes up with straight "pregnant" or "not pregnant". Oh I remember it like yesterday and Rebecca is nearly 12 weeks old now! Good luck.xx

:( :wall: did a clear blue test and it was a fat neg.
So off to the docs I go!!

I found the cheap ones to be really good. Like the dipstick ones! I got a positive on one of them then a negative on a predicter the same day. A lot of the dipstick ones measure from 25.

The lower the number of MiU the better they work.
The most common strengths are 10, 20, 25 and 50. Most high street brands are 50MiU andf can't always detect a ++ from 1st day of missed period (although sometimes can). The strongest (10MiU) can detect a BFP from 7-10 days after ovulation. Hope that clears it up a little! And good luck TTC.

clear blue defo the best worth paying that exta bit for them, not the one that says pregnant or not pregnant, but the one that just shows up with a line, i tryed all the cheap ones they were always neg 2mins after clear blue showed possitive

:D thank you all for your replies, they helped me alot, I now know which test to get
thanks again guys so much

p.s hopefully I will be able to announe BFP in the next few months!!

I have heard form some of the girls on MSN that Tesco's own have a good reputation but have not used them myself xxx

Tesco's (pink & white box) were the first I used while they were positive the hospital's were neg. HOW WRONG were they since my pregnancy was ectopic  <Stops self now>

Anyway I totally would reply on them or Clearblue (not the digi ones).

Awww Marie :( But  trying again

Will have to join you conceiving in the same month Jaidy betrayed me

I personally love First Response - The line was always so much darker than other tests for me (Compared to Predictor, Clearblue, Clearview and Answer).
They measure HCG at levels of 25mIU and over.
