Right over the last week I've been hand expressing a couple of times per day so that I can combine getting gripe water in Harry as well as introducing a bottle now that we've established breast feeding.

Going to buy a pump so I can do it more often and get some stocks in so at some point I can leave him with hubby or mum if I want to go out

So what should I buy? Don't want to spend mega bucks as I still want to bf, but want a decent one

I know the medela ones get good write ups- been looking at the mini which is around £65

All suggestions welcome xx

I had a Tommee Tippee manual pump which developed a rather embarrassing squeak . It was good while my rubbish bf experience lasted lol

I use a Philips avent electric pump which does the trick. Its got a really long cord which is very useful

I was very lucky to get it on offer in boots though, I think it had 20 quid off it and then I had a parenting club voucher for 25% off and I got another load off it. I think it cost me about £50.

For the rubbish two weeks I managed to express before my stupid supply dried up I borrowed a friend's medala swing. Not cheap but it was bloody good.

i got maedela mini off ebay for 30 quid

I used a medela swing when I exclusively pumped in the beginning and it was great used medela while in hospital after i gave birth and just stuck with that. x

I'd be wary of spending a lot on an electric one if you plan to use it a lot. I use mine everyday and it's def not as efficient as before.

And I'm sure ish burnt out a few. It its just occasional use my TT electric one was good.

Xxx

On my iPhone - so cant see tickers :(

Do they not come with a guarantee?

Hmmm, I dunno. I think I'm gonna email TT about mine, but I figure it would be a bit of a nuisance it it happens often. Especially seeing as it doesn't seem to be one off. Xxx

I hate my pump - hand expressing is much easier and feels nicer. And works just as fast for me!

You sure you need a pump?
