As the title says what item/s would you recommend buying?
What have you and/or your little one had most fun with?

My son LOVED his fisher price rainforest mobile:

A friend reccomended it as her daughter loved hers. I thought it was a bit pricey but it was worth every penny and now at 13 months he still lilkes it (without the mobile bit, just the lights and music). The remote control thingy with it was good too.
Another well used item is a book with black and white photos of babies in, it was a gift. As soon as he started to focus he stared at it and when he looks at it now he kisses the babies!
I would also reccomend early learning centre's buggy play bar for when you start using a buggy/pushchiar, it was handy for when we were shopping to distract him (has never been very good for me when we're out and about)

Hope that's a help!

James loved this Miracles and Milestones activity gym.

I found it evolved with him and there always seemed to be something different to enntertain him as he grew and changed. It really was the best invesment we made. I only put it away when he was 7 months old!

He also had a Lamaze kangaroo and some wrist rattles which have been well used. Apart from that household items (like wooden spoons, egg cups, remote controls etc) seem to be favoured in or house!

Definitely a play/activity mat for them to lie on. I recommend one that has arches so there's something for when they're on their back but also something on the mat for when they have tummy time!

Other than that I'd go for some soft toys that have textures/crinkly sounds etc. as Lucy loved them.

When Finn was tiny the best things we had were the play gym and an Infantino Flutterbug mobile! He loved that mobile = it attached to the side of his cot top changer. Poor thing gradually lost its wings as he pulled them off one by one!!

Nowadays he loves things like wooden blocks, a Playskool air thingy with balls that whiz around, stacking cups. He also enjoys playing with wooden spoons etc. Oh..and anything that he isn't supposed to play with!

i have the clip on arch that sage mentioned above, caden loves it,its the thing he uses most apart from his teething beads.I clip the arch to his buggy when were out and to the trolley in tesco.he even has it on his seat in the car.i got it from tesco and think it was abot 12pound

Do any of you watch Baby First on Sky with your little ones?
Are you against these type of channels?
Do you have CD's that you play and enjoy?

We dont watch TV but have a couple of CD's with nursery rhymes and childrens songs on that we sing along to & Maia loves them.

Toys wise we dont really have much. She has a play gym Lottie Ladybird from Mamas & Papas, she loves her mobile, she has a homemade rattle which is just an empty water bottle with some rice in, a fisher price seahorse rattle, v-tech Alfie singing bear which she quite likes and something I cant quite describe its a circular bas with curly wire runing out of the base and then back in again and the wire has lots of coloured beads on it.
