What is nipple watch?

Maybebaby said she was on nipple watch in her 2ww. I am in 2ww and not sure what i should be watching for. I have had a good look at them this morning but they look the same as normal, is this bad? Should they be purple or something if i'm pregnant? had a quick look on google but couldnt find anything. What do you know that i dont? Thanks in advance!

I think she maybe means looking for changes in the colour and size of her areolas, also the bumps around your nipples may get bigger as well and they might be a bit sore or tender.
Oh the joys ey?!

That just made me laugh out load at my desk not heard it been called that before!! But yes as mentioned basically you are lookig for changes in your nipples, colour, size etc.... i

nipples still looking normal, but after pinching them a bit they are now definitely more tender, so I shall take that as a good sign!

misstinkerbell, I am not coping well with 2ww this time. I wish we had done more BD. Yet I had a good strong line on the ov kit the day we last did. I tested again the following day and it was still there but much lighter and I really really thought we should get in another go but circumstances didnt allow and I am feeling like we did it too early. On the other hand I now have 'purple nurple' so that's a plus
I also slept for 12 hours last night, which is kind of unusual, do you think that might be a symptom? I am desperate to test but I know it would be pointless, just another week to wait, oh hell! How about you?

Awwwww backatcha star fish! I only found this forum by accident and im so glad i did, i havent laughed so much in ages!!

Erm i think its defo a good sign that you should stop pinching them!! Hahaha, what are you like!!

I never cope well with 2ww, i drive myself and my OH up the wall, "do my boobs look bigger to you?", "Do my nipples look darker", "i think i feel different, do i look different to you?" Bless him, hes got nodding and smiling and humouring me down to a fine art!! We didnt manage to bd as much as i wouldve liked this month either so another girl on here suggested home insemination, so hes been leaving me a 'deposit' in a cup on a morning, sorry tmi, and ive just been helping myself as it were. I managed to get the lil swimmers in me whether he was with me or not so thats the main thing!! We'll soon see if it helped!

Sleeping more could be a symptom, but then again everything is a symptom when youre ttc, its a bloody nightmare! Try and hold off poas for another week and you never know, this could be your month, especially with all the baby dust flying around here!!
