Adam is 8 weeks old and weighs 12lb. He has never lost any weight and is on hungry baby milk.

The problem is that he is struggling to go more than 3 hours between feeds. At the moment he is taking 7 - 8 5oz bottles a day. I am thinking of offering him 6oz bottles to see how much he wants to take.

What do you think? I am hoping that he will take what he needs when he needs it and will hopfully be much more contented. I don't want to over feed my baby, but I don't want him to keep crying with hunger. xxx

I'd definately up it, i had to do that with Jack cos he just seemed restless all the time. He didn't seem content at all. Once I increased his oz's he was a much more peaceful baby, good for him and good for me too

Well, I gave Adam a 6oz bottle before bed and he took it all. No sick and no upset tummy. He went to bed with me at 10.30 and got up at 4.45 for another feed. He only took 4 oz and then another 4 oz at 8.10.........Big difference. xxx
