In the rain?

Buggies and umbrellas do not mix!

Any recommendations of rain coats?

I bought a hooded coat especially for that reason, or stick my wolly hat on and look silly!

I just wear a hat !!! Lol my winter coat is without a hood !! Need to think more practically now I have a school run to do !! If u have a go outdoors near u they have some good Parker efforts which I may be getting !! Xxx

Good point. Maybe we need to get one of those granny plastic hood things

aarrgggh this is a biiiig issue for me, i'd forgotton about this prob. I dont like jackets with hoods coz they make my hair look stupid, but I need a hood coz you just cannot push a buggy with a brolly, its impossible, well....its ok until you need to cross a road or lift the buggy over a bump.

xxxxxxxx

I have mastered the art of running after a toddler walking next to the pram, pushing the pram and holding an umbrella and all while looking calm.

It takes time but you will soon learn the art known as the one handed push.

Someone needs to invent a brolly that clips to push chair handles!!! Xxx

Along the lines of the granny hat idea what about one of them electric granny scooters that comes with a rain cover over the top. Pop baby in the basket and off you pop.

I think i've got the wrong buggy. I think the umbrella buggies are slightly easier for this

I've got a quinny buzz. Its just got one long handle so i can hold it more towards the middle with one hand. I can't use an umbrella with the little pram, it goes all over the place!

Oh I use an umbrella no problem. Mine is a big see through one with a long handle. I rest it on my shoulder and hold the end of the handle and the handle of the pram in the same hand. Works fine!

Oo I'm thinking of getting a buggy brolli but wasn't sure if they were any good, so pleased you say you like it. Had to go out in the rain the other day & realised how difficult it is, gave up in the end & got wet!

I've never heard of a buggy brolly before :/ just googled it! I am sooooo gettin one :) xx

They are really good!! And they fold down with ur pushchair too!
