Weddings! again sorry!

there both lovely hunny!! just a word of advice wear ur shoes loads around the house, so u dont get sore feet on the day xx

i dont really like flats in general im more of a small heal girl but i do like the flats

I always wear flats, and love them both but if it was up to me I think it would be the heels. :)

For some reason I feel more girlie when I'vegot heels on but that's just my opinion.

Oooooooooooo I really like the detailing on the flats! I always wear flats and wore gold sandels on my wedding day (but then I got married in purple and gold so it all kind of amtched). What sort of skirt has your dress got - ie would it be easier to wear with heels or flats? The other things is, I was amazed at how much standing and talking I did on our wedding day, so I was grateful for flats, but then lots of people find heels really comfy. I think, think about the skirt of your dress and take it from there.

i am not good with heels they kill my feet and i would like to feel comfy on my wedding day as it is a long day on your feet so i would go with the flats.

Hi hun......I rarely wear heels, but on my big day, i decided that i was going to wear them. Right up until the last few weeks i was looking for some cream flip flops. In the end i got these in cream

They were pretty comfy, but they are now trashed from walking on grass!! They made me feel taller and i walked nicely in them. Id reccommend heels!

Hiya I got married in April and had something similar to the heeled ones for the day - wearing heels will give you a better posture even if they're only a little bit high 2.5" makes all the difference. I then got some slip-on's for the dancing. They made a huge difference as my feet were a bit tired by the time the dancing was starting.

Wore these for the day

Woohoo look at that you've less than 2 months to go you won't fee these last few weeks. Someone said to me before my wedding, on the day remember to stop every so often to look around and take everything in. AND BREATH just remember when you're looking at all your friends and family they are all there because of your and your DF its the best feeling in the world. - The day goes so fast its unreal enjoy the rest of the run up.

awwww smurf thats so true, i will be thinkin that all day. :D

Another question do i go gold or silver?? as in necklace and tiara, my dress is ivory ish and i have a ivory fur wrap? im not good at all this am i?

That's all right I loved arranging mine and there are so many decisions tos make. Have you signed up to any of the wedding forums they have loads of info on them.

I love the sound of a fur wrap it gives it a lovely wintery feeling. With regards to gold and silver I personally prefer silver. My dress was strapless in Diamond White so I had BIG siler drop diamondy earrings and a Sliver tiara I didn't wear a necklace as it look too busy. I had a 1 tier full length veil too. I brough in all my accessories into the shop and tried on the sample dress again to make sure I was happy with my decisions.

thanks smurf, Ive got to go an sort OH's suit an DS suit out on sat so i will making a trip to the bride shop to see accesories, my dress is really plain so i wanted a necklace to set it off. Our weddin rings are platinum so i guess silver would be best!
thanks for all ur help! its all so confussing.

no problem anytime - pm me if you need to. Have fun and Saturday try not get too stressed out about it all.

As for jewelry...id pick it to match my wedding/engagement ring.

I have been married 9 weeks now, Smurf id right about taking it all in, my DH didnt drink alcohol just so he could remember every little bit of the whole day, bless him.....i got lashed, and i do regret it :(

ah hels what a shame I was on the wine and champers at the meal but by the evening I'd had enough was on soft drinks very strange for me couldn't understand why until I discovered I was pg when we were on our honeymoon then it all made sense unfortunately that little bean didn't want to stay.

Sophie there's a word of warning in there from hels.

Ooooooooooo I was thinking silver to go with the wrap and ress. The wrap sounds fabulous by the way! Good advice too on the breathing thing, you will be so rushed off your feet with preperations and then congratualtions, it's nice to take time out now and again. It's very excting!

i had heals which was in for the photos but by the night reception i was wearing my pink fluffy slippers unerneath my dress as my feet were killing me :rotfl: :rotfl:
