Right I'm going to a wedding on Friday and as I now have a bump none of my clothes really fit me. I'm going to go and get something for the wedding tonight but I want to get something that is suitable for other occasions too.

Any ideas what I can get thats comfy but looks nice? Would you advise getting normal trousers but just a size bigger or get actual maternity trousers? HELPPP!

You could get a baby doll style dress? It would just flow over your bump and fit afterward the birth for other parties etc. Or you can wear normal or maternity trousers (what ever your still comfortable in) and a jazzy top to go with it. Maternity going out dresses are so expensive, you could always look for a normal dress just go up a size in it or something? If money is a factor just go for trousers you currently own/wear and get yourself a floaty/pretty top!! You can always accessorise with hair clips, shoes, bags etc.

Yeah your right as im sure people will understand. The only trousers that still fit me are jeans but if I get a pretty top and some nice shoes im sure ill look ok. I'll let u know how i get on!

Just to say that New Look do some nice maternity things, like smart looking tops, that don't cost too much, and you'd be able to wear through the rest of your pregnancy. But yeah otherwise, I'd suggest normal skirt/trousers and a long top - and luckily long tops are in fashion at the mo :)

Thanks Nicola I wore a pair of high heeled leapord print shoes and matching bag :)

I cant spell leapord, ive completely forgot!!!!! DUH!!!! PREGNANCY HEAD :wall:
