Luke and I were discharged yesterday evening around 5pm from Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
It feels so good to be home with our little boy. I am so in love and he is justg gorgeous. I won't lie and say that labour wasn't painful, but God, he is worth it! Like others before me have said, I wouldn't be in a rush to do it again, but I would do it a million times over to have Luke.
I knew I was going to love him but I'm absolutely overwhelmed. I can't take my eyes off of him.
He is long and very skinny and I was told that the placenta was very thin so it means that it had stopped being efficient. It scared me to hear that but I guess I just have to keep in mind that he is here and he is fine. He should have been around 8lb though instead of the 6lb 11oz he is. Bless him. He's even having to wear Early/Tiny baby clothes!
I'll post my birth story soon. It's an interesting one since we were diverted to Huntingdon from Peterborough as they couldn't take us here!
