This may sound daft but , anything goes here hey girls! When your waters leak is it really obvious or can it be very light over days? I'm not sure if this is happening to me or not? It's probably just watery discharge or something ( TMI  )

i didnt even no when mine had gone i was induced and they tried to break my membranes and they had already gone

Funny you should say that....
I phoned my midwife this morning because i thought maybe i was leaking. She said to wear a pad for the day and see if it got wet. 5 hours later it was still dry, when i phoned her back she said it prob wasnt my waters as the pad was dry, but apparently discharge in later pregnancy can be abit like water, she said it could of also been urine, with the pressure now down below, how embarrasing (in other words i prob p**sed myself  )
She just told me to keep an eye on it.
Id phone the midwife or hospital for advice tho, you cant be to careful. They will prob ask you to go in just to check.
Hope you get on ok, sorry if i wasnt much help!

I have definitely got more watery discharge (sorry if tmi) during this last few weeks, but you need to get it checked if you are worried.

I have been swimming a couple of times recently and often wondered if you waters broke whilst you were swimming, surely you wouldn't know????

dont get embarressed hun you will do alot ogf this after bubs is born :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: cross your legs when you cough sneeze and laugh and remember to do those all important pelvic floor

claire you made me laugh :rotfl: That's what I'm afraid of, being told I'm just peeing myself lol!

I guess it is watery discharge from baby dancing down there. Scary to think I may not know though due to the infection risk!

My waters leaked with my first and i wasn't sure what it was. I just used to get a small trickle down my leg when i stood up but thats all. Went in to get checked and it was waters. With my second i thought the same had happened again but it was just discharge, the only difference there was was that when it was my waters they ran out whenever i stood or sat up.

My waters leaked for the 2 days i was in labour with my eldest daughter xx

I didn't really know my waters had broken - when I went into hospital the first time to be assessed (had been in labour for quite a while) they told me. I knew I was damp and had been wearing a pad, but to be honest I just assumed my pelvic floor wasn't holding up under the pressure of the contractions  . So there was no gush - just a small leak with each contraction.

Maddie was clearly fully engaged at the time as her head kept acting as a plug - each contraction she'd move a bit and there would be a bit of a leak, then she'd plug it back up again!!

I wonder if your waters break when baby's not fully engaged whether that's when you get a gush????

I had lots of discharge all way through, it turned watery around 35 weeks..mentioned it to midwife and she said it was normal..

Last tuesday I noticed it was a lot heavier (I had to change knickers) and mentioned it again to midwife, she sent me up to hozzie to get checked out..I had to wear a pad for hour, which was dryso they examined me and said it wasnt my waters...

If you are worried, pop on a pad (not a pant liner, they are no good the MV said) and if its noticeably wet, ring hozzie they will prob want to check you over...
