Ive been watching her for a while, why do they do those facial expressions?
I used to think it was miming the words but Ive been watching and it's nothing like it

it's because of emotion.
it's a lot easier to understand sign language when the person is actually using facial expressions.

if you think about it, when we talk we can gesticulate and we pull faces and expressions.
it's no different if you sign, it's just that you talk with your hands and not your mouth!
