waiting to test... :s

Hi there,

I'm VERY new to these forums and only been ttc for a few months now but wanted to see if any of you had any very early signs that resulted in a BFP?

I'm currently on CD22, 6/7/8 DPO, AF due 2nd/3rd Nov, and experiencing possible early pregnancy signs but not sure whether i'm just being too hopeful!

3DPO I experienced a definite pinching pain on the left side of my uterus that lasted until midday the next day, 2 days after this my chest started to become uncomfortable and have become increasingly painful each day with blue veins down the sides and very slight changes to the colour and size of my nipples, (sorry tmi!!). yesterday and today ive been feeling slightly nauseous and this morning have been having minor flu-like symptoms (v.sneezy and body feels weak and sensitive/tingly and lower back pain) so not sure if im just getting ill. lastly today my uterus feels like its being stretched, similar to AF pains but also very different...i know thats sounds odd but thats how it feels.

Does any of this sound familiar and when do you think i should test? (really want to asap but dont wanna test too early!!)

I don't think the sensitive tests really work much sooner than 10/12DPO. If you have Internet cheapies no harm in testing every morning if you want but be very aware that there will be likely negatives to start with even if you are pregnant as it takes time for the hormone to build up to a measurable level. Good luck. I would maybe see how it goes as my body does this every month - I always get symptoms of pregnancy every month we are trying because my body is just mean.

That's what my fear is, my body is just being cruel and playing tricks on me!! I'll try and stick it out as long as i can! i dont wanna get my hopes up!!

I think i'm going to try and stick it out until next weekend at least. i never realised the frustration of ttc until now!! it rly makes you think youre going slightly crazy! xx

Hey! I am due AF this weekend coming, and I had a random bleed a couple of days ago, so I am hoping that this is my month! But of course, the proof is in the test! I am not testing til AF is late this month as I did test last month and I was so disappointed when I got a BFN.

I was naughty and did a test this morning as i woke up feeling very sick, achy and tired! it came back negative but im not too sad as i know its still too early to be testing. i dont wanna eish time away but this waiting is so excruciating!! Hope you get your BFP!! im in the same boat as you as you flexi as AF is due monday!

I tested too - had a cheapie in the cupboard so I thought f**k it and took it - there was a second line but it wasnt Pink it was just dark grey!!! so god knows what that means, I am going to retest in a couple of days xx

Eeeep that sounds very exciting! what dpo are you currently on? as the day has gone on I don't feel sick anymore but still feel run down with a cold and my chest still rly hurts. Only 8/9 dpo so im not too disheartened. Think I'll try and hold out until Weds to test again :s xx

I am 9 or 10 dpo today (10 i think) and due period on around friday so I will just wait til then now because I will just get my hopes up - our bodies are a whirlwind of bloody symptoms aren't they! xxx

been having some uncomfortable cramping today which feels a lot like AF pain to me it's still too early for that to arrive but I can't put it down to anything else. at first it just was lower area but now its grown to near under my belly button too which is slightly odd but still feels like AF pain. I'm feeling very deflated today. very sensitive. not fun

So I had my driving test this morning after 7 years of learning and ive finally passed!!! now i don't know if i should test as today might be a good day or whether my luck will run out... so nervous about testing as so many signs are still there!!

Thanks MrsS! I'm so relieved it's finally done! I'm currently 11/12dpo and have a CB Digital in my draw waiting to be peed on! haha. My very close friend is harassing me to test now haha. I'm very tempted as my signs are all still there but I'm scared it's my body being cruel and playing tricks on me so nervous! even more than I was before my test this morning!! xx

I felt exactly the same hun. I'm 12dpo today and got my bfp yesterday after 6 months trying! I used a frer and got a clear positive but a 'not pregnant' on a cb digital. Apparently they aren't very sensitive? I'm just saying in case you end up disappointed and it's just a bit early like me? Maybe try a frer? Everything crossed for you xx

oh wow firstly CONGRATS!!! so happy for you!! Thanks for the advice hun, its comforting to know that a BFN might not rly be a solid BFN. If i test and its not then ill get a FRER tomorrow. I'm gonna wait til my partner comes home before i do it and i'll post results! eeeppp... xx

BFN with the CB digital but I've not quite given up hope just yet. will wait and see if AF arrives on Monday and if not test again. Down but not quite out! x
