I'm getting tired of waiting again, the time seems to drag so much when waiting.

I keep trying to stay pre-occupied with other things, but it's not easy. :wall2:

How long is your wait?

I have a lot of plans before then, but that's the big thing to count down too

June, how about you? I've got some weight to lose and some other health conditions to get under control. Not fun at all hey!!

Hopefully after my April period, I keep saying April but my periods are at the end of the month so it'll be May we're trying.

I have some weight to lose as well, I doubt I will have lost it all by the time we start trying... but I am quite a slow loser. We also have a few things on later in the year, such as a cruise and other things already booked that we would have to cancel and loose out on a lot of money if I were to get pregnant before then. So that is literally the earliest we could start... I could really start right now to be honest, but need to be sensible. :(

I suppose it gives me that chance to lose the weight.

Good luck with your weight loss, I hope you get some help with your other health issues as well. Summer will be here sooner than we know it, it just seems to drag when all you want to do is get on that journey

I hated waiting so I said to OH the 1st week of January I wanted to come off the pill so we're ntnp

I'm back... and unfortunately, still waiting

Picked up other things, such as my uni degree now... so we're having to put of trying until December. (It sounds silly but going to have a couple of years of really trying for a few months then breaking from it again as I can't be due around the time of final exams) then once I've graduated we will start properly. (If we haven't been lucky enough to fall before then)

Waiting is such a drag!! We still have 3 months before we start but it seems so far away. If we weren't booked to go on holidays end of September I would probably talk oh into trying now :D

However the 3 months will give me some time to take vitamins, eat better and maybe do some excercising! Oh and let's not forget that I still have a toddler that needs to learn to sleep alone and pee in a potty lol xx

That's a good point, there are plenty of things I want to do in the next 5 months, lose just over a stone, take the right vitamins.

Just so hard, especially at certain times of the month (like I'm pretty sure I'm ovulating in the next couple of days)

I met OH 13 years ago and got married 3 years ago and I wanted to ttc 10 years ago. 10 years I have waited for OH to agree to ttc and that's been 6 months trying and nada. I know he now regrets waiting so long as it's not happening for us. Good luck when you start ttc and I hope your more lucky than us!

Sorry to hear you are having a tough journey TTC

That does worry me actually, all this waiting and I do think hmm if we started trying now we probably wouldn't catch on straight away anyway. But at the same time it's not the best time for us to have a baby yet with my uni course just starting up again.

Wow Alexis! You are the most patient woman in the world!! Finger crossed you get your BFP very, very soon! Don't give up :hugs:

I feel like there never is a perfect time for having a baby. We said we would wait until we can afford a bigger car and ideally when our loan is paid off (quite a chunky amount leaves the bank every month) and once we have some savings put aside... But you know what? God knows when that will be! So we decided to start this October and even tho we will be very poor for the first couple of years we will manage.

How long is your course Donna? x

I had this conversation with someone at work the other day actually, not about me but in general. We were talking about how there's always something you could feel like you weren't ready for, whether it's needing a bigger house, finances or more time... there's always something if you're being really sensible that would stop you trying.

Sometimes you've just got to ignore it all and say stuff it, it's what we want let's just go for it.

My course is still going to take me 4 or 5 years depending on how many credits I squeeze in each year as it's a full degree and I'm doing it part time while working full time.
