I know this is not strictly working during pregnancy but im just so chuffed with OH's work. He is a contractor (been there long term, 3.5 years so far) so isnt strictly 'employed' by the company but they have said that when LO comes along he can work from home for as long as he likes so he wont need to take time off but so we can spend time as a family and he can support me.

how cool is that  bless his company , they are so family friendly. i keep telling him to get a permenant job there (hes had offers) because they give child care vouchers as a perk of the job (but apparently if he goes perm they pay less)

Sounds like they are a very modern, caring employer Tangerinedream.

That's excellent hun how good are they. Once your LO is here you might want to ask him to consider it again because those child care vouchers are worth quite a lot my friend gets them.

Hi,
Thats very refreshing to hear an employer is very sympathetic .......
In todays day and age its very rare, good for you anyway

Full-time staff do get paid less BUT you will get paid holidays, sick pay, redundancy pay, and potentially other benefits like paid paternity, possibly health care, pension etc etc.
