i wouldn't mind if he was just being cautious.... but he's not even just being cautious, he's being quite negative!!!

Although he's picked up a bit tonight!!!

Really hoping they can get me in tomorrow, otherwise will sit down at the surgery being a big cry person until someone lets me have my blood taken!!!

HINT: go to the blood place in the hospital, they are fab! Had it taken once at a GP surgery on manchester rd and she butchered me


BTW pound shop in birchwood sells the pregnancy tests that are the stick type like clear blue and they work

Don't you need the blood form to get it done at the blood rooms at the hospital?
I was wondering about doing that!!!
My doctors is one on manchester road (280) but i know the nurse is off, so they might send me to the blood rooms to get them done... really hope so!!!!

Yes you need the forms, Ive always been given the option of the practice nurse or hospital and always chose the latter except once when GP foned me first thing in morning for a repeat test he wanted doing that day. She couldnt get blood, took 4 attempts on both arms and I was bruised to hell. Ive never had a problem before as Ive been a blood donor. This was the one up near the rope & anchor.
I figure that the blood place in hospital theyre doing it all day every day and have far more experience.

Will go to the doctors and if they offer the choice off to the hospital i will go!
For my gyne bloods i always take them to the blood rooms, like you say figure they do it all day every day!! Never had a problem there!!!
