Do those UV summer suits work, are they worth the cash?

We are going to portugal in a few weeks and I don't know whether to invest in one or whether a long sleeved t-shirt and leggings will do the same job? I think they are meant to keep little ones cool as well but the material seems like it would make me feel sweaty if I was wearing it in hot weather.

Anyone have one and was it worth it?

yes they do work and kids love them Hannah has had a couple every year and have saved loads of tears with not having to apply suncream all the time

I have one for lil miss... the sun can be so strong here... (although its pouring with rain atm... :rotfl: )

Cameron burned through his t shirt last year. was really sore.

Ive been looking for a long sleeved u-v top for him but cant seem to find anything bigger than age s 6.

I saw the full suits in Asda at weekend, under a tenner i think pretty good buy .But only up to age 6 :(

She's not worn them yet but I got a long sleeved top for £7 and a full suit for £12 from Boots. They are buy one get one half price.

They are better than wearing a t-shirt and leggings because they can be worn in the water. Jake wore his when we went to France last year with a swim nappy underneath. He didn't seem to get too hot in it.
