Hey ladies

Feeling really deflated after the scan this morning! The woman wasn't that nice which just frustrates me more! The cysts have gone which is good! And along with the +opk and what she could see she believes I'm ovulating which is great!

However she said that the lining is very very thin 1.5mm but failed to say anything else and pretty much pushed me out of the room (the place was empty and there was ample time to answer my questions)

So I'm assuming that even if I managed to conceive this month there's now nowhere for the egg to burrow.. Is there any chance of it thickening over the next few days?

Hey hun
I'm really sorry that woman shouldn't of told you that without explaining more to you , I think some health professionals shouldn't be in their jobs if they can't show empathy with their patients and don't have the time to explain things properly

Anyway I have been diagnosed a few times with a thin uterine lining partly due prolonged Clomid use
I have researched a lot of supplements and natural remedies
So at the moment I take
Dong Quai (a blood tonic)
Wild yam root (natural pregosterone )
Maca (balances estrogen)
EPO
Royal jelly

And then newest thing I've tried which I do belive helps the most is Beetroot juice, it contains nitrates which promote blood flow to the body including the uterus and is used by athletes to promote blood flow to the muscles so is proven

do some research and please stay positive hun, it is possible for
your lining to build up very quickly :)

Big hugs

xxxxxx

I'm so sorry you got someone like that. I have had one particular nurse like that and feel it's really insensitive of them - what we are going through is not our choice and is really upsetting. They need to caring, empathetic, have time and listen.

I have no idea about the uterine lining, although I'd go with what Clover says. But I do know about cysts (unfortunately) and it's really, really good that they're gone. Xxx

thank you ladies! clover I shall get to researching :D

this may seem like a silly question but if the uterine lining is thin then i assume that means no af? and if that is the case does that mean I won't have an af until its thickened??

really appreciate the advice! xx
