Hi ladies

There may not be many of you, but just wondering whether anyone could share their experience of carrying mono di twins, and their risk of twin to twin syndrome please?
I'm having to see a specialist every 2 weeks and just feeling a bit anxious about the next few months, thanks!

One of my friends has recently had triplets and two of the babies were identical and sharing a placenta.

She did get ttts and was sent to a London hospital for a procedure on the placenta to rectify the situation. Following the procedure she had a partial membrane rupture at 23 weeks. Many weeks of rest followed and her babies eventually arrived safe and sound (albeit after a fair bit of anxiety on her part).

I tell you this not to frighten you but to say if it does happen there are successful treatments they can offer you.

Oh thank you Torino for this story, glad to hear her babies arrived safely. I know that if I do get TTTS that I'd have to go through one procedure or another so at least I feel a little at ease
