TTC for second time

Hi, I'm new to this so please bare with lol. Me and my partner are currently trying for our second baby. Our daughter is 3 now, after having her I went on to the copper coil which I was on until about a year ago and I moved onto the depo because my periods were horrific. My drop run out 27th of Jan and I didn't go back for it because obviously we wanted to try for another baby. I have had a period since. I'm currently Day 13 into my cycle. Is there any chance I could have ovulated yet? Because I should be about ready to ovulate now and my tests are all showing a negative result? I'm new to this "trying" malarkey as our daughter wasn't quite expected so we weren't really trying lol. So any help/answers would be much appreciated! Thank you xxx

With an "average" 28 day cycle the day you are likely to ovulate is day 14 but it really varies for people. When you say your tests are all negative I assume you mean opk tests. Are you using them at the right time of day? Most of them are supposed to be used in the afternoon, I've only seen the clearblue one that should be used first thing.

Some people have ovulation tests that have the faintest line before they ovulate then they suddenly go positive the next day. Mine seem to progress over a few days getting slightly darker (I keep them to compare each day) before going positive.

Assuming you have a 28 day cycle, you could ovulate on days 14-17 depending on how long your luteal phase is. Sometimes your cycles can be a bit unpredictable after coming off any form of birth control too.

I have longer cycles (average 35-36 days) and I ovulated on CD21, so if you have longer cycles, it might be too early yet.

After my copper coil was out my 1 cycle stayed the same, 28 days, and one was 30 days. Both cycles I ovulated day 16. Maybe you ovulate a bit later too x
