So my partner doesn’t think I’m late... his theory is that I’m normally on at the end of the month... well it is (minis three days) I’ve tried explaining that yes that is roughly when my cycles falls but it’s also everyday 28 days which would have been yesterday or even today. He just keeps arguing that I can’t be left because it isn’t the end of the month yet and we got a negative test yesterday but I know I am... even if it’s a day late it’s stkll late

Just roll your eyes and say Okay. Men don't really understand menstrual cycles, TTC or pregnancy, because they don't have to really think about any of it in depth.

If he's not willing to listen it might be a losing battle!

Ugh I tried to explain how cycles worked and he just went blank. He just told me I should tell him when he has to do the deed. They just don't get it and never will! It's like offside in football, we don't get that either! And probably never will!!:rofl:

I've never bothered telling hubby if its only a day or two late. Late, to a man, is a week late. Haha.

Glad its not just my oh  i was talking to some girlfriends about it yesterday actually and i said i dont know why i am surprised he doesn't know simple things about womans cycles, but then why should they need to know, especially first time round with the whole ttc.

Its either yes or now or has to be black or white, theres no in between with them!

I’ve found that as time goes on my OH gets more interested in what’s doing on with my cycle. These days he’ll ask about my temperature, etc.

I suppose it’s something quite alien to them but I also found at the start that he thought everything was black and white but now he’s starting to appreciate the grey areas!

Tbh men are just bloody useless (honest i do love my OH) and quite frankly we all couldn't get a :bfp: without them but they still are a pain in the butt. I just tell the OH when we need to DTD and when i'm ovulating and he understands that he needs to get in that bedroom ASAP x

He just has a lot more relaxed approach with it all. I can’t really tell
Him when we need to do it and he then thinks I’m pressuring and pushing too much.
It’s just hard, and I think AF is coming today. Mild spotting but bright pink :(

Also found out over the weekend my family has a history or long term trying to conceive and cousins have mid shaped overies also what makes it hard to get pregnant so if there is no luck with this cycle I may make a Drs appointment

Yes maybe make a doctors appt but I’m sure they like you to wait 12 months before they investigate but that’s only what I’ve read. If you have a family history then they might be more willing...

My OH has been more interested since I explained everything to him when we had our MC but he replied ‘women really are minging aren’t they’ when I was explaining re CM etc haha

Still no af
Spoke to my mum last night as well as she confirmed she doesn’t but her side have been known to have PCOS called my Drs today and they’re happy for me to go and speak to them about it so got an appointment for the 21st just to discussion things and maybe tested if no luck this cycle.
As long as I remember I’ve had regular cycles but I do have additional hair growth on my chin and chest

Yes bets to get checked out if only for reassurance everything is ok. Let us know how you get on x

Thank you.
I’m normally regular and have been since coming of the coil but this month has thrown me. Im now cycle day 31 and still no AF. No cramps or spotting, but got BFN Sunday. Just going to see how the week goes

Today’s update is cycle day 33
No af yet.
I haven’t been able to get to a shop to buy another test as they’re closed or no buses running by the time I finish and any I can phiy walk to don’t sell them.
I have a half day tomorrow so I’ll be buying a test when I finish and doing it Saturday morning.
I keep thinking I maybe be getting a crap but then I don’t Know if it’s because I’m thinking about it. I had very very mild pinky colour when I check my cervix for CM but it was very hard to tell if this is the start of AF and only appeared when I wiped my finger onto a tissue
