Ok, so I know i'm only 4 weeks pregnant  But i'm trying to be prepared for once in my life.
I'm not going to go and buy anything yet, but i'd just like some reccomendations/suggestions of what make/type of pram to get.

This is my first baby so I really have no clue of what sort of thing to get, so any help is very much appriciated

Thanks ladies!

Btw, I hope i've put this in the right place

Thanks for that :) Travel systems sound really good, but I only have a Yaris with a tiny boot so i'll have to have a look for a smaller one. Or I could always pinch the other half's range rover

When you go to look at prams make sure you have your car as you can ask them to put it in your boot to see if it fits... i didn't do this and had to have one of the back chairs in my old ka down all the time cos the pram wouldn't fit in the boot :wall:

Grr - how annoying for you!

I'll keep that in mind - thanks!

I have got the one in the first link(but in a different colour) but I wouldn't advise it if you have a small car. The Trenton is a nice pram but quite large and heavy. I have seen quite a few people with the pram in the second link recently and I think it is lovely. I am not sure of the size so you would have to go and look at it but it says lightweight. It also comes with a car seat.

The next link is the same pram in a different colour.

I have did a bit of research since I have a small car and the loola travel system and one of the quinny ones- can't remember if it is the zapp or buzz- fit in small boots.

I've got a Mamas and Papas Zoom buggy. It's lightweight and compact but still doesn't fit in the boot of my Clio without the parcel shelf off. :(

The bigger pram I have is really just for walking about locally. That's also a Mamas and Papas older style carrycot/pram/pushchair style.

I found the travel systems were very expensive and, for me, it worked out cheaper to buy separate pieces.

Good luck with your pregnancy!
