Trying for baby no 2 after after abortion, lletz and copper coil

Hi very new here, I'm 30 and actively trying.

So I had my son 9 years ago.. Took me 6 month to conceive! When my son was four I had an abortion due a To really bad circumstances at 7wks, felt awful but didn't really have a choice! other people may say you always have a choice but believe me it wouldn't of been great for another baby at this time in my life.
Anyway I had the copper coil fitted at the same time had that for 4 years, also in this time I had my first smear I had abnormal cells and had to have lletz 🙁

I recently had the coil out as my partner and I are so ready for another baby! But I'm so worried that all my body has been through and with my age I'm not going to fall! Wondered if anybody else lose had experienced anything similar and could put my mind at rest. TIA 😘

Can't say my experience is similar but you are only 30 and I don't see why you shouldn't be able to conceive. Good luck x

Bless you. I had the Lletz procedure for CIN3 6 years ago, oddly, negative hpv so not sure how, but...I had my entire cervix taken and all I was told was that I'd need to be induced between 36 and 37 weeks.

There should be no reason you can't conceive.

First of all, I wanted to let you know that I conceived one month after having that procedure.

And secondly - I might get slated for saying this on here because technically you’re not meant to discuss abortion - but please do not ever feel the need to justify your reasons for terminating when you did. Yes you had a choice and yes you made what was the right decision for you at the time. Your body: your choice. It’s no-one else’s business and you don’t have to justify that to us. Sorry I can’t offer any words of wisdom about whether or not the termination could have any impact on your ability to conceive.

^^^^ Here here! Don’t feel you have to justify it, no one can tell you what you should have done without walking in your shoes.

I always worried about conceiving after I had an abortion but I had no problem.

You are still young to conceive, so should have no problem

Hiya hun I'm 2 weeks post lletz and waiting until we are aloud to and I get my results. So about another 4 weeks until we can even try.
I have no experience but wanted to respond and tell you what the other ladies have said. It is a banned subject here but only because of its sensitivity... Your body your rules no one will judge you here x x
