Soo I've just booked to go to Ibiza with my mum for 5 days in April (22-23 weeks). I thought I would need some sort of special travel insurance, or at least need to declare it when going for ordinary insurance. But there doesn't seem to be anywhere that I can do this...

Can I just buy travel insurance with any of the comparison sites (I've said I have a medical condition but it then tells me it doesn't need further info and pregnancy isn't listed!). Has anyone done this before?

I'm going to Europe so obviously most healthcare is covered (I already have a EHIC thingy), but I don't want something to go wrong!

Thanks :)

I think you're Okay. As long as your mode of travel approves. Make sure you take your EU card x

I went on holiday at 24-26 weeks, I got an online quote then emailed them to check it was still valid for pregnancy as there was nowhere to specify. They said was fine so I bought the policy. I emailed so I had their response in writing, just in case!

Hi I'm a travel agent , we just sell a standard policy and advise to call or declare pregnancy as medical condition but you don't have to it doesn't affect policy if you don't . If there's no option don't worry about it.

I go to Florida in April and my travel insurance doesnt require pregnancy to be declared as its not classed as an illness or disability xx
