Tongue Tied?

Have any of your LOs been tongue tied & had their tongue snipped? If so, how did they breastfeed afterwards? Did they latch better?

sorry was on phone now re read this, Mine had his snipped and it took him a while to work out what was going on and why he had more freedom with his tounge but once done he had no probs and I found it easier afterwards

Oscar has a tongue tie but in our area it seems to be only snipped if there are problems feeding. He won't latch onto my boob properly so I have to use nipple shields although the midwives don't seem to consider this a feeding problem
