Todays midwife appointment

Just back from my 16 week apt Picked up heartbeat immediatly!! It was strong and loud and sounded like a galloping horse! (Midwife reckons its a girl) But scan on 1st June will tell! I didnt expect the heartbeat to be that loud and strong oh wow! My blood group and iron level are spot on! And so is bump size for 16 weeks! I have sugar in my wee though and low blood pressure! Could be caused my only having a very sugary coffee n cereal before appt! Ooops have been advised to reasses my diet! So from now on lotsa corperation pop...fruit and veggies!

Aw glad it went well! Good that you got to hear the HB too!

I had mine today as well although I had to go to hospital as I am under consultant care (signed off today though!) and was there for bloody ages! Had my bloods done though so that's probaby why. Didn't get to hear Hb, they said they wouldn't try till my 23rd week appointment!

Awwww no!!! I wonder why they wont try til your 23rd week? Id have been gutted if my MW hadnt had tried today xx
