Tmi...Worms

I think iv put this in the right place, has anyones kids had worms whilst you was pregnant? How did you cope?
Iv got less then 6 weeks left till baby should be here but he may be coming earlier. And my daughters got worms, not bad but shes been treated for them today (as her dad didnt get her medicine at the weekend ) i was told that i cant take any medicine as the only medicine i could have is not licenced for pregnant women and can cause oxidation?1 or something which affects the baby. So for 6weeks i have to clean our sheets regulary, clean bathroom every day, wash hands as often as possible, try to get my daughter to wash her hands often, get her to not put her hands near her mouth, everyone has to shower as soon as they wake up, wear tight fitting underwear at night. Its ridiculous and couldnt have happened at a worse time!! How the hell am i going to wash/change 2 beds nearly every other day when i struggle to do 1 in a day.

Anyways just wondering if there are easier ways to cope? and how you coped? Thanks x

My son had worms when I was pregnant with Jacob. Him and OH took the medecine but like you I couldn't have it. I had to take all of the above precautions too. Unfortunately there's not much else you can do xx

i had worms in my 2nd tri and the doc prescribed me something for it?? it was a thick pink drink type medicine and my baby was fine xx

You can slap me for this..

But dont you worm kids like you worm dogs? Like a regular thing to stop them getting them.. ?

No lol. If they have them you give them 1 spoonful of medicine and then in 2weeks you give them 1 more incase they got reinfected. You dont worm them like animals or we would have to be wormed too as adults can get them from anywhere too x
