Hi, it's me again asking about other people's cm!

I posted a week ago saying I'd had ewcm from cd 7 I think it was, possibly earlier I can't remember without checking my app. Anyway, it was pretty early for me. I check every day by running a finger around my cervix and every day since then I've had ewcm! It's barely even changed, it's been just the same every day. I think I ov on Tuesday, but I had no specific sign, usually I feel a pop or a throbbing in my ovary, but this time I felt nothing. On Tuesday I'd describe it as a bruised feeling and this was cycle day 14 so I'm going with Tuesday as my ov day. Plus since then the ewcm has changed ever so slightly and lessened. I've just checked my cervix and cm. really sorry tmi coming up but it was thick, creamy, lotion type cm and almost felt silky smooth, and loads of it. There was also a small glob of ewcm. Now I know this isn't normal for me, I don't think in the whole time I've been checking my cm and cervix I've ever had this.
So I'm just wondering what this could mean, I feel like I'm out this month as with my husband being away over ov we only had sex a few days before ov. But obviously I'm hoping it's an early sign. Any idea? X

Are you doing opks? Just wondering how you know you are 3dpo. In my experience the EWCM usually stops after ovulation. A bruised feeling can just be the ovary getting ready to ovulate. I'm not sure how reliable the pains are as I had them 4 times this month! You could easily be ovulating later than day 14. Lotiony, watery or EWCM all occur in the lead up to ovulation - after it gets sticky. Doing BBTs is the best way to check you have ovulated.

No I do nothing but track cm and cp (although I'm still new to cp).
My "abundant" ewcm stopped 5 days ago, Tuesday, since then it's been dryer but with bits of ewcm in it.
For me, I always get ewcm 4-5 days before ov then it stops either the day of or the day before ov. So again this still points to me having ov on Wednesday. But now, since I woke up this morning I've had a throbbing pain in my left ovary. It lasted nearly an hour now it's eased but I can still feel it slightly. So not sure what that could be.
Also my cycles are 28/29 days and my luteal phase is 14-16 days, again this points to around Wednesday for ovulation although I'm aware, having not come on yet, I can't use that as reliable, I'm just going off previous cycles.

I really don't know...I think unless you are doing opks and BBTing it's hard to guess when exactly you ovulate. My EWCM sometimes stops days before I ovulate and I get what you are having. It's possible your luteal phase is shorter than you think. I was sure going by EWCM and feeling that I was ovulating around day 13 or 14, and I got back to doing opks and it's more like day 16 or 17 and doesn't correspond exactly with the EWCM.

It could be worth asking your GP about it if you are concerned.

Oh ok, well that's positive. Every other cycle I get ovary pain around the day I finish having ewcm so it's all kind of text book but things can change I suppose, we shall see, thank you.
