OMG! I love Alfie so so much but what on earth is up with him? he is normally quite happy rolling around on his change mat babbling away and having a giggle, WELL, today? could i put him down oh no! he was fine sitting on my lap but everytime he went down he'd scream, and im talking a high pitch sqeel that pierced eardrums, i checked everything, fed him gripe water made sure he was in no pain, but he just wanted to be stuck to me all day. He even screamed when he went to his dad this morning and when he went to my mum and he adores them both normally very very loving with everyone. i no how u may think this sounds sweet that all he wants is his mummy but im really worried surely its not good that he doesnt want anyone else and its going to hurt other ppl especially his dad. I think hes teething but even if this is the case surely a cuddle from anyone if its the cuddles hes wanting should do the same job?

Ellis was suffering really bad with teething a few months ago and this is when he got his "I hate everyone but my mum" stage.

When anyone looked or spoke to him he would SCREAM blue murder!! everyone apart from me and luckly his dad. It is a nightmare when u wanna go out and mum cant babysit any more!!! hehe

He is slowly getting better now and will let people look at him hehe xxxxx

o so this is normal then, good, i just dont want to get him into the habbit of being clingy otherwise he wont socialise when hes older, i think iv got to just persevere and give him cuddles when he needs them

Even now when I don't feel good I want my Mum

lol yeah im like that, if anything happens its your mum you want isnt it. well im being tough but hes being good as gold today, dont think hes fussed today, he was a bit this morning but i just left him in his swing as he was wingeing and cleaned up and talked to him the next thing i knew he was silent i turned round and he was out of it lol, only 4 half an hr but he woke up in a much more sociable mood and we've been playing since gave him a bottle and hes asleep on the couch so shall carry on with cleaning.
