Didn't know whether to post this here or in 'ask a mum', but posted it here. Mods feel free to move this should you feel it's in the wrong place.
I'm in a play next month and I'll be playing a 19-year-old girl who is pregnant and around 32 weeks in the beginning and then goes into labour at the end (and she is full term, I think).
The play is 'be my baby', if anyone is interested.
I'm basically asking for any help with a convincing bump, my teacher is suggesting cushions but I don't know.. I will be wearing whatever it is underneath a pinafore type dress and a blouse as it was set in a convent in the 60's.
I do have round cushions I could use, they're a bit bigger than a dinner plate, it'd be a case of maybe putting a belt around them or something to keep them in place? Be really convincing to waddle and have a cushion fall from underneath my top
Any help I'd really appreciate!
