Third off at Sainsburys

Hi ladies,

I am working form home today so took the opportunity for an early morning trip to Sainsburys. Thought I'd let you all know that their cellular blankets, knitted blankets fitted jersey sheets and some clothes and nappies etc are a third off. I also got some nice dark, soft pj bottoms for after the birth. All round a good shopping trip and worth a look if you've still got some bits and pieces to buy.

What are the cellular blankets like? I know that sounds a daft question but I have been all over - mamas and papas, mothercare, boots, tesco etc...and have felt the cellular blankets and put them back again. They just seem so stiff and itchy, not soft as I had expected.

I ended up picking up a rather posh and expensive blanket from john lewis, and a few fleece ones, but would like a cellular one really because i've heard the holes keep the warmth in etc.

I'm such a fuss pot!!!

Looool that's where I got my babas bed sheets n covers from. John Lewis do really nice baby stuff!

@ emma 85 - They are not that soft, but I'm thinking they will soften up with a good wash using comfort pure softener. I've also got some beautiful (and very soft) knitted blankets that friends and family have made for us, so the cellular are an addition.
