There's a few of us now !
How is everyone ?
No signs here just had a lovely two hour nap with the baby and have bought sing to watch with the kids when my daughter gets home from school mugg aswell make the most of the time before baby arrives.

I was booked to be induced today but I'm still sitting at home with no signs of him coming any time soon
6 days overdue now. Boo!

Stupid hospital.

FFO me too! I called this morning and she said there are no beds!! I've got to call at 10pm to discuss them calling in the night if something comes free, but if not we try again tomorrow!
I don't even need a pessary, I'm already 3cm dilated, just need them to break my waters.

Il be 14 days over tomorrow and I sobbed for an hour this morning, until hubby took me for a walk and some cake (much needed!!)

Good luck to everyone, hope these stubborn babies make their exit soon!
Also is anyone else sick of people saying 'appreciate the time, you'll miss it when baby is here!' I've been off for 7 weeks now, I've appreciated for long enough! xxxxx

Ah bex that's sucky. I've just got to the hospital now and hooked on the monitor - going to have the peseta unless they examine me and I'm further than I was on Wednesday which I doubt.
So so scared.

Hopefully the ward has some space for you soon x

That's something at least, and I've heard the pessary is quite good, my friend said she had really predictable regular contractions so she felt very in control!
Good luck, hope it's a quick one for you and you have your baby soon!

I'm starting to think I'll just be pregnant forever lol!!

My friend was holding her baby four hours after pessery was inserted. I'll be the last one to go I'm pretty sure I have zero signs of a baby arriving anytime soon just trying to think of things to do to make the time pass x

I've found planning things has made the time go quicker, like having people round for tea or meeting for a coffee, just passes the time
It's such an annoying time thought isn't it, feels like you're in limbo! Every time I speak to my mum she says 'this time tomorrow you could have her!'
In a way once I accepted the induction date as my due date it became easier, I stopped getting so disappointed every morning when I'd still not gone into labour! xxx

Ah elfs I've had the pessary in for about four hours and nothing yet beginning to think it's gonna be a few tries boo

Just a quick one he was born yesterday on 09/09 at 22:22hrs weighing 8.8lbs, by suction cup delivery. Lost a lot of blood so being kept in to be monitored for now and feel like death warmed up but baby seems to be doing great. Still deciding on a name though!

Would you believe on the morning of the 9th my waters broke! So no need for induction at exactly 42 weeks, after 11 hours of labour Isla Stephanie was born at 6pm

Congrats FFO, glad you finally have your baby, hope it's not too long for you elfs!!
