Wasnt it! i was BOILING had to have the windows open wide and sleep with no cover
also woke up with a nosebleed :( Not ideal - anyone had similar?

Exactly the same.....windows wide open, covers off, clothes off, the whole shibang. I have to say, not really enjoying the hot weather. Which is a shame cause usually I LOVE the hot weather.

God, I was soooo uncomfortable. I couldnt have windows open as totally paranoid about creepy crawlies but I just had a sheet over me and still woke up about a million times sweating! URGH, I cant wait till the weather cools down! x

i am not enjoying the hot weather either :( Mostly because i LOVE being outside in the lovely heat and sunshiney-ness but now i feel so hot and i cant lie comfortably ANYWHERE but the sofa and i burn really quick and have been told thats really bad when your preggers

Liam is still the same though and is absolutely pining the outside world, i feel like such a cow bag for keeping him in all the time but i never get to see him anymore - we have been sitting outside sometimes in the evening which is quite nice :)

Are you burning more easily now? I usually burnt easily anyway but lately I only have to spend 5 minutes in the sun and Im pink! My drivers arm has deffinatly become obvious :( I think my skins more sensitive now...rubbish.

yep we slept with all upstairs windows and doors open to try and get a breeze through, I had to sleep naked and we had to have the blinds open a bit to get the air moving so think my neighbours might know me more well than they want to  Its lovely today, being able to have the laundry out, all windows open while I clean the house :)

you have to be soooo careful when you are pregnant because your skin isnt producing melanin in the same way, so you can end up with perminant little white scars where you have burn all the colour perminantly out of your skin!
i burn really quick so just stay indoors mostly :( such a shame because its beautiful out there!

^^^ OMG I burned the tops of my feet yesterday. got nice white lines where my flipflops were! I hope I dont get wierd pigment on my feet! I totally forgot to put sun cream on them :wall:

I always forget my feet lol, I never seem to get it even either, I've almost always got a burnt bit where I didn't rub it in properly or something, I'm just a rubbish tanner full stop :) I'm SOOO not enjoying this heat. I didn't get much sleep at all last night either

A trick I used in Australia where it was unbearable at night even with the air con on - wring out a wet flannel/small towell and lay it on your body; it will work the same way if you have the window open but essentially its a rudimentary air conditioning system! It really works wonders, just make sure you dont wring it out too much :)

RM, that sounds like a plan!! Although our temp today has dipped again and its quite overcast now.

totally feel ya! Lol i was sleeping in my underwear with no covers and was sweating buckets.

as someone else said, im too paranoid about spiders to have the window open :)

Not similar, i was exactly the same i woke up with nose bleed too!

I think we are in for the same tonight.

Yep, last night was horridly hot too :( The nose bleeds are normal though, we are suseptable to more nosebleeds and things anyway in the heat (even if your not preggers) and when your preggers you have more blood pumping around you so they are even more common

i saw the midwife yesterday and she told me :)

Yep its been so hot, its been so hard to sleep, hope it is cooling down a bit now, i don't like my swollen feet! No nose bleeds at of yet, touch wood, but i normally get alot of nosebleeds normally, but not since being pregnant - odd x
