Seems like everyday i come onto 3rd tri and someone is in pain, not sleeping, feeling irritable, impatient for babies arrival etc. So lets post in here, when we have indulged ourselves a bit, with a quite bath, or a read of a book, or we painted our nails, did our make up or had a lovely day out. Even if your just having a positive day and everything is going right.(i know that might not be often, but being pregnant is the BEST thing in the world, enjoy it before its gone!!)

Your baby will only be inside of you for nine months, so enjoy the intimacy as long as it lasts.

Some inspiring quotes:

A mother's joy begins when new life is stirring inside... when a tiny heartbeat is heard for the very first time, and a playful kick reminds her that she is never alone

Think of stretch marks as pregnancy service stripes

Feeling fat last nine months but the joy of becoming a mum lasts forever.

A baby is something you carry inside you for nine months, in your arms for three years and in your heart till the day you die.

There are three reasons for breast-feeding: the milk is always at the right temperature; it comes in attractive containers; and the cat can't get it. (sorry just like that one!)

SO CHEER UP YOU LOT, PREGNACY WONT LAST FOREVER!!!

Not quite pregnancy realted but my positive today, i went int the new Principles clearance shop here in Wycombe, they were having a sale, i got three Principles items for £50, but i had a £15 off voucher as one of their account card holders, so three items for £35, for principles that is pretty darn good.

Also slighlt pregnancy related, i am glad our house is nice and cool at this time of year (due to a big shady tree on the right hand side and being terrace no windows to the south), so i have been nice and cool at home all day whilst being able to enjoy the sunshine.

I like this idea!

My possitives about pregnancy....

No-one knows when i'm bloated

I LOVE my bump, even if it does get in the way, in my eyes it's just perfect, and having her with me means round the clock entertainment!

Having her has totally re-organised my priorities, she's the most important thing and everything else that seemed huge before is insignificant.

I LOVE buying stuff for her, i never thought id get so much joy from spending money on someone else

I've been having a few very possitive days recently, today i have sunbathed and been for a swim, and i'm about to wash my car :cheer:

Oh and i'm pretty certain Tally is now off my back!!!!

Errrmmm.....positives.....errrrmmmm....I am thinking hard!....

Knowing I am going to be a mom to two beautiful children!
Love having loads of baths and no one telling me I am over doing it. My skin being dry is the least of my worries.
My skin is really nice at the moment.
And I have been losing weight!
So, there are some positives. Nice idea for a thread :)

:D :D :D

My kind of thread!!!! I posted something with a similar ethos on Sunday in 'Off Topic'.

I folded and put away some clean vests and baby grows today which I washed at the week end. They smelled lovely :D

Also, it's been really hot today but we've got one of these American style fridge freezers with an ice and cold water dispenser so I've been enjoying that all day.

Feeling all 'womanly'. I have always been all hard angles & bones. I love the soft roundness of the new me, round boobs, round belly & round bum. My face looks softer as well. I feel very connected to my body and love the fact that i am growing a whole new life which amazes me still everytime I feel her move. I absolutely adore being pregnant and hope I don't lose all the weight I have gained.

Good thread btw.

Great thread idea :D

My positives are:-

I love the fact that I'm craving ice lollies :D

OH saw Oscar kick for the first time at dinner (my belly jumped)! I've seen it for awhile but it never seems to be around OH.

I finish work on Friday yay!

I went shopping at lunchtime and found some really cute sea themed baby clothes in Boots. They will match our nursery (which I still have yet to do) and I was good and bought two 3-6 month items :cheer: Also they are suitably unisex so I can show other real life people without giving it away that we know

ermmm....a boy is my guess!

I look forward to finding out! :D

I LOVE the idea for this thread, its great to see something positive in 3rd tri for a change ( apart from the birth announcements)

So here we go as bad as pregnancy may get and yeah we all have bad days this is my positive

I feel blessed to be pregnant, after suffering the loss of my twins last year i guess everyday of having the little man inside me is another day that i am blessed to have him in my tummy kicking away.
Yeah i understand we all have those horrible days but i hate to see all the moaning when like it is said this is 9months you really can't ever get back, you cant get back those first kicks, hiccups and the cheeky excuses for a afternoon nap.
EVERYDAY is a positive knowing that i am carrying a new life inside me right now. :D

I'll start with a moan to begin. It was f***ing hot at work today, was sweltering. BUT, I know it's totally worth it, there's no question of that and remembering that makes me smile.

Also, I worked my last Monday at a job I hate today. How good is that? My last Monday morning grump... for a long time!!

I also want to add. I'm happy about the fact that I was ill in first Tri, but not properly sick sick. I haven't taken more than one day off ill. It has made DH and I closer, I think we're both really looking forward to this as much as we should be. I'm happy that I haven't had too many horrible side effects and that I've hardly put any weight on really.

Hmmm, there are probably more :)

TBH: I am completely happy with people moaning on here. At least there is the positive of people having an outlet, where they get the support of people who are in the same or similar situations.

So for me, the moaning on this forum is a positive. It helps me a lot, and I have made new friends. Some that I hope to have for a long time.

If I did not have this vehicle to express myself, I do not know what I would do.

So, PF is ONE BIG FAT POSTIVE!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

I love the fact that I have become far less self conscious about my body and walk around the house with my top rolled up and my belly out which was something I would never do before. I hope this carries on after :D .

I feel like I'm allowed to be fat now :rotfl: but I still feel self conscious sometimes. I wish I wasn't, I feel really fat now, even though it's to be expected.

i love the fact that im not so bodily conscience now ive got a bump.

I like how other pregnant girls smile at me when they see me in the street..... its like im part of a special club!!

I like how im having a baby in the summer and get to enjoy the summer, whilst having a whole 7 months off work!! wohooooo

i love watching my belly morph about...... and thinking my son or daughter is in there!!

Im overjoyed at the fact that me and my fella are gunna have OUR OWN little family in a couple of weeks!!!

Oh i could go on and on, but youll all be

PS: WHAT A NICE HAPPY THREAD .............

i washed Sophies new blankets today, i felt like a real proper mum hanging them out on the washing line and making them smell nice for her!

Im looking forward to going out to dinner with all the girls for once! thats all 5 of us! so we can have a good natter and a catch up and talk about the future and impending arrival!

i love that being pregnant means that NO ONE says a thing to me when i go to get some cereal from the cupboard at 11pm lol im pregnant and i NEED the extra food! dont they know that! hehe

Awww this is a brilliant idea! Well done Jodie! :cheer:

I kind of welled up reading some of your lovely posts!!

Here are my pregnancy positives;

I love waking up every and remembering I'm pregnant.

I love looking at her little shoes and really struggling to believe that something so special to me will be wearing them one day.

Whenever I see a Mum, I honestly think "wow, you're amazing" and I finally understand it when she smiles over something her child has said or done out of pride.

I just absolutely love the prospect of soon becoming a Mummy! :cheer: xx
