I have lent my baby book to a new mother, and i have forgot what a child temp should be, sophies is 38 atm this is high isnt it???

hi hun have only just seen this message a childs temp is between 36.5 and 37.5 so its not that high but anything over 38.5 then i would keep a closer eye on it. hope she is ok now? sorry for late reply x x

anything over 37.5 is classed as a temperature. Give her some parcetamol (calpol) and check it again in about 30 mins.

She still seems under the weather temp is fine now but has the shits big time

She is also off her food but still having the shits

But seems fine in herself so doc has told me not to worry, so iam going to give her a few days and see how she is

Noah was suffering like tis recently, and I took hhim tot he docs, and was told dairl will prolong the upset tummy and dioreah, was told to stop giving him bottles and keep him on a diet of water and dry toast, and this cleared him up in a couple of days.

exactly what i was told, and ella is so much better now, she had an ear infection and tonsilitus and just last week had a chest infection, its been a rough couple of weeks
