teething issue

I cant believe it but at just under 3 months my sons first tooth has just about cut through. Ive tried the herbal medicines for pain but they do absolutely nothing. Id love to try calpol and bonjela but they state that the age is 3months+ Kyran is 3 months a week today? would you use these medicines for the sake of 1 week or wait?

Some calpol is from 2 months so you could get some of that. Don't have any other advice though- we haven't crossed that bridge yet

poor little thing! def give him some calpol, especially before bed, fothers is right - the sachets are 2months up - baby smile loves the taste as he had some before his jabs at 8 weeks hope he feels better soon

I think dentinox teething gel can be used from birth

My little one has a bit of white showing at the top gum and he has been very irritable lately and I have just been given dentinox yesterday (suitable from birth) from pharmacy.You apply a little gel on their gums and you can do that every 20 minutes if necessary!Hope your little one's pain is eased soon. xx

As the others have said Calpol is from 2 months. If there's only a week until he turns 3 months I don't see a problem using any that say 3 months +.

If you're ever in doubt about what you can/can't use go to your local pharmacy & ask. I've done it a couple of times & they're usually really helpful.

thanks girls. Hes definately teething hes been knawing on his hand all day and he was guming on his dummy and wanted to get his hand in there as well! I think i gave him about 5 bibs through the day, he was just soaking them in dribble. Infact hes fast asleep in his cot now still with his hand rammed in his mouth!!! Tried some capol didnt seem to do anything so im def guna try the dentinox stuff coz their wind relief medicine works great for him to.

You can get bonjela for 2months +. I used this one.

Dentinox Teething Gel can be used from birth onwards - it was a life saver for us!!
