I just spotted these on ebay and just wanted some advice on if they were ok - would prefer a bracelet over a necklace, but what would be better???

Well after much humming and haaing, I bought this as its gorgeous and i thought good value for money.

It was 12.99 for the both necklace and bracelet - off ebay and free postage so hope it arrives quick!

:rotfl: I'm so thick. I never realised they only wore them, I thought they sucked and chewed on them

Anyway I wouldn't use them simply because I'm not a fan of jewellery on babies and children and would worry about it getting caught and tangled. They are nice looking but I prefer a rubber or plastic teether you can cool in the fridge and a dose of calpol if teeth are really hurting. I was lucky with Isaac though, he never had trouble teething :)

Im not a big fan of jewellery either on babies but I will try anything to help ease the pain of teeth.

My daughters not that big on her teether and I want to try something other then calpol.

oooo might get mia one but will have to get her a necklace as she will chew the bracelet 8)

Hi. I only recieved mine thismorning but from what i've read amber shatters if chewed so I wouldn't give my daughter a bracelet as it'd end up in her mouth. her necklace just goes under her clothes so she doesn't bother with it. they're designed to be short so they cant fit in their mouth. proper ones are also designed to break if caught on something. i've decided to put Imogen's on her ankle when she's asleep, under her sleepsuit tho so she cant get it.

Mrs T - you could put the bracelet round her ankle under her socks etc then she won't chew on it... unless she is like my LO and likes chewing her toes :)

thats a good idea thanks girls il do that its a great idea.

I didnt realise that either till I bought one for a friend and it said in the packet, do not let baby chew. I thought, thats a bit odd, if its in their mouth they will chew it. But alas, I read more into it and found out the truth. :rotfl:

Me too and im hoping they work as i hate resorting to calpol when her teeth hurt - hope the more natural remedy works a treat.

i hope not lol..i had a coral chip b4 and it really dug in.. hope urs doesnt xx

Well i hope not if not il be going on the site you mentioned and getting one off there and keep the toher till shes older.

Praying its ok though as im skint!
