tattoos and belly peircings

i have my belly peirce.. i wont be devistated if i lose that.. but i have a tattoo up the side of my rib cage.. how do you think that will fair?

Hiya Stace,

I've already had to take my belly peircing out because my bump seems so big and the bar was catching on everything but you can buy belly bars with a long stem that are made specifically for pregnant women. I'll try and find a link for you.

I think your tattoo will be fine, obviously it'll stretch a bit while you're carrying but when baby's born it'll go back to how it was originally.

I've still got my piercing in, not had any problems with it yet either.

Your tattoo will stretch abit with your bump but should go back to normal when you have had the baby

I have a tattoo on the bottom right of my belly and it hasn't stretched but the petal on it (it's a daisy) has been hit by a stretchmark making the otherwise white tips of the petals slightly pink!

when should i start moisturizing?
i have stars all the way up my side, and i am a little nervous they are giong to turn into miss formed blob things. lol

i am fairly petit and so is my mom and al my dads sister. my mom went down to 92lbs a few months after her third child, and nobody in my fam has stretch marks... i hope my body fairs as well as the women in my family.

I took my belly bar out while I was pregnant I got a stretch mark going right across where the hole is now that I have lost all my baby weight the skin has gone back to normal but the stretch mark hasn't so it looks really wrinkled and weird. Yuck! I can actually strect the stretch mark out to length it was while I was pregnant. Also the hole got stretched and is more like a big slit now and belly bars no longer sit properly in it anymore xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

im the same as gems got to have my belly button redone now aswell.......as for the tattoo i was a size 8 wen i fel preg with my 1st child had a new tatto jus b4 then on the botton of my belly i uused stretch mark cream 3 times a day so i wouldnt get stretch marks on my new tattoo how wrong was i got 4 stretch marks going right through it wasnt happy looks awfull now hope u get better luck with not gettin stretch marks

i managed to keep my belly button piercing in till about 28 weeks, but it had gone really red and horrible looking, so i took it out, and it's closed over and healing now. doesn't look too nice, but hopefully the damage won't be too bad.

i have a tattoo on my left hip which has been fine so far
