What do people think of name Tanya for my lil girl, its my mums name an i love it but everyone i ask doesnt seem to like it, including ex,

i like it, when I was younger I moved to a different area and told my friends I was called Tanya (my real name is Krystal and i didn't like it) - They came knocking for me one day asking for Tanya and my ma m was like WTF IS TANYA ?!
