taking max to emergency doctors

Tomoro morning,

I've never heard or seen screaming like it poor boy.

I've given him some nurofen (incase it is some sort of pain or illness) and he's now asleep on me. Its been tough but I'm happy he was like it in front of my mum stepdad n OH cause now they can see what I mean n agree something bad is going on. (Not that they didn't believe me but its hard to imagine how bad crying can be til you see it for yourself)

I think its possibly really bad reflux (doesn't explain the excessive tiredness though) so am gonna get the OH to film his next feed tomoro morning so I can show doctor what he does rather than having to explain and explain it wrong. I hope they diagnose something n it gets better cause I'm driving myself mad thinking its something to do with that the congenital virus he has (not all of you will know what I'm talking about)

T did this before a lot. She has improved a lot with the new meds and me enforcing naps on her which I know is not everyone's cup of tea.

If he's screaming and screaming due to reflux he'll be all out of sorts with his sleeping and feeding patterns. He'll be overtired which means he won't feed well and won't take enough milk which will leave him hungry and not able to sleep. It's a vicious circle.

Hope you get good news at the docs

My LO was like this with reflux. They dont get a good sleep with it. Also if its reflux sounds like you need stronger meds.

im holding off on the doctors for a little bit, he only woke once in the night for food, and didnt fuss at all. he then had another feed (albeit another 6 hours later) but he didnt fuss then either. gonna see how he gets on after his next feed and go from there

He woke a few times but only once for food. Didn't wanna broadcast it though incase anyone had a bad night. I had 6.5 hours sleep ! Xxxx

Yeah hope it continues hun! I feel guilty sometimes about the amount of time Albert sleeps, even though I don't sleep that much any more lol
