Taking ages to feed..advice please...

Ava is 2 weeks old now and though content she is the opposite to my lo on the feeding front as he was a greedy guzzler, she takes ages to drink. She only has 3 oz every 3 hours but she takes at least an hour to take each one, with gentle encouragement. can i get her to drink any faster as this isnt alot of milk is it?..any ideas welcomed.xx

my daughter was the same hun and i never found any wy round it i think some babies are just different, she is now nearly 3 and takes forever to eat a meal

my daughter always took an hour too, she used to scream while she was feeding an also sick alot of it back up but that was due to reflux

im sure your daughter will get a hang of it.

Thanks girls ill just see how she goes. In hoping that as a positive to not being a guzzler, she wont get colic like my little boy did at her age now.x
