The MW's are thrilled with her progress. She's a week old today and her jaundice has gone, she's managing to *touches wood* hold her temperature and no longer has to wear a cardigan, hat, socks and mitts over her sleepsuits in the house. She's also begun waking herself for feeds, rather than needing to be woken and having to have her feet flicked to keep eating, and her Blood Sugar levels are fine.
The best bit....after the MW explaining that most newborns lose a little of their birthweight in the first week she weighed her and the little piggy has GAINED 7oz, that was on day 5! She's gone from 5lbs 7.5oz to 5lbs 14.5oz
