Im having a right mare and a half trying to find something stylish to wear for my holiday in June!

Everything is the same, black, one piece and oh did i mention black?!..In my whole 23 years ive been alive ive never once wore a bikini and that upsets me as you get some gorgeous 2 pieces thesedays!, at the moment im on a diet but knowing my luck ill no way near be my target weight before i go on holiday..Ive looked all over the internet and googled bikini advice for plus size women and still nothing interesting comes up!..Im a UK size 18 but hoping ill be half the size before i go on holiday!

I just want to get away from the colour black and the whole one piece swimsuit in general, but im so self conscious of my thighs and body in general!, since having my son im laiden in angry, red stretch marks from the bottom of my stomach downwards and im also concerned that if i did wear a two piece then it'd ride up showing off my c-section scar

Im seriously struggling for ideas on what to do!..Anyone with any tips or advice or what not it would be well appreciated in a situation like this! :(

Try Debenhams in store or online. They do fab stuff :) and some even go by cup size giving a nice shape and good support. Some even have nice cut out pieces and stuff.

Have you thought about a nice tankini? Like a longer top, and bottoms? Perhaps even shorts.

Sites I suggest are
Debenhmas
Matalan
BHS
M&S
Bravissimo(a little expensive but worth a look)

BHS has an amazing range of tanktinis that don't ride up or whatnot, they're about £10 a piece. I have two (bright pink and teal, the bottoms I have are the ones with skirts attached)

I also have two Speedo one piece costumes that I got from Sports Direct for £7 each. They have a little leg on them (I hate having the top of my legs on display) and are awesome.

All hold up well to washing and being dried and swimming.

I am a size 18/20 with huge tits, just for reference.

LJY how much leg is covered in those sports direct suits? I hate my thighs, now more than ever, but I'm dying to take O swimming.

I have a little tankini from BHS that's actually like a pair of hot pant short type things?xx

They have lovely swim dresses online at Evans too, just seen a beautiful aqua green one. I'm looking for a reasonable tankini top for pool birth

This is a bit of a pricey option, but I swear it's the most flattering, prettiest swimsuit I've ever owned and totally worth the money!! Holds tummy in (not uncomfortably) and the ruching really makes it feel slinky :) Excellent quality too. I have the one piece in red with white polka dots

Tapatalking!

Thanks guys!, will give some of these a look over! :D

The swimdress is looking the more favourable option as it keeps all wobbly and stretch marked bits well under wraps!..But then again id love a swimsuit top that gives my boobs a little lift as i feel a bit saggy after having seb

I saw a swim dress in sports direct today, looks like a good option :-)

Not a long way just enough to cover the top of your thighs. Take a deep breath and do it - it soon becomes clear that nobody even looks at other people's legs (when I realised that, I started shaving less  )

How about a tankini to cover your tum and a sarong to wear on hol for thighs. I think debenhams do a lovely range and sometimes on matalan you get some good ones too x

Thanks guys! Well I took the plunge and bought myself a bright pink ruffled bikini :p I'm now on the look out for either a pink swim skirt to go over the top of my bottoms or a nice sarong :D

Just hope now I can really sum up some courage to wear it
